Confession from a dietitian

As a dietitian, I have a confession to make: I don't love to cook. If I spend too much time in the kitchen, I literally feel myself getting tense and irritable (by the time Thanksgiving dinner is over, I don't want to see a kitchen for at least a week). But there is some nuance here, so let me explain.

When well-meaning advice goes wrong

As a dietitian, I have a confession to make: I shop the middle aisles of the grocery store. In direct defiance to the advice you always hear about only shopping the perimeter of the grocery store, I brave those middle aisles to get my instant oats, whole wheat pasta, canned tomatoes, peanut butter and frozen fruit.
