2026 Retiree Fair
The annual Retiree Fair will be 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Oct., 8 at the Marriott Griffin Gate Golf Resort & Spa, 1800 Newtown Pike.
Our annual Retiree Fair is designed to support University of Kentucky retirees by providing valuable information, resources and connections to help them navigate retirement. Attendees can learn about their retiree benefits, meet with benefit providers and community partners, explore volunteer and engagement opportunities and receive guidance on topics that support their health, financial well-being and overall retirement journey. The event also offers retirees an opportunity to reconnect with the UK community and learn about programs and services available to them throughout retirement.

Health insurance differs by age
Before you turn 65, you have the same health insurance options as employees. Once you enroll in Medicare through the government at age 65, you’re eligible for our UK health insurance which supplements Medicare. It's called Medicare Advantage.
UK now with Humana for Medicare Advantage plan
We’re excited to partner with Humana to begin providing your Medicare Advantage plan beginning January 1, 2026. You should have received a welcome kit from Humana in the mail. You can also visit your.humana.com/uky to learn more.
