Take appointments as long as you make up your missed work time within the same week.

Reduced hours options

Reduce your hours for a season

Working less during summer and winter while keeping benefits may be an option.

Take seasonal unpaid leave

Full-week increments of leave during defined summer and winter periods may be possible.

Phase into retirement

Explore easing into retirement by reducing hours over time.

Phase back to full-time from leave

After extended leave for any reason, including childbirth, you could return part-time at first.

How to administer seasonal unpaid leave or reduced hours

You help make it happen in SAP The business officer in the employee's department will execute a "Position Update" action in SAP to update the employee's record. Detailed instructions may be found in the Payroll Reference Manual. Please refer to page 8 of the Position Changes/Transfers/Updates section. ​ Because the seasonal hours assignment is a temporary accommodation, there will be no need to change the attributes of the position.
