Your fitness goals are personalized — your fitness membership should be too.

Whether you want to focus on the mind-body connection, strengthen your muscles or get your heart rate up, we offer a membership to meet your needs.

With a MoveWell fitness membership, we offer a range of classes: yoga, barre, strength training, HIIT and more. You can choose to take your classes live online, in person or select a class from our on-demand virtual library. 

You must be a MoveWell fitness member to enroll in a class.

  • Available to UK employees, spouses and retirees
  • Convenient, offering campus and online options
  • Cost-effective, costing less than commercial fitness memberships
  • Easy to cancel at any time

Virtual - $5/month

If you want to maintain or increase your physical activity but prefer off-site convenience, this membership offers:

  • Access to all HR Health and Wellness virtual classes
  • Access to the extensive HR Health and Wellness library of video workouts available any time on demand
  • Two online Fitness 101 sessions per year

This membership offers you:

  • Access to both MoveWell at Export and MoveWell at Seaton fitness centers
  • All in-person group fitness classes
  • All virtual classes
  • Access to our extensive on-demand virtual library
  • In-person Fitness 101 sessions with our exercise specialists

All Access - $22/month

For access to multiple facilities, additional class opportunities and more, this membership offers:

  • Access to both MoveWell at Export and MoveWell at Seaton fitness centers
  • Access to both the Johnson Center and Alumni Gym through Campus Recreation and Wellness
  • All in-person group fitness classes - both Health and Wellness and Campus Recreation and Wellness
  • All virtual classes - both Health and Wellness and Campus Recreation and Wellness
  • Access to the extensive HR Health and Wellness library of video workouts available any time on demand
  • In-person training sessions at either MoveWell facility with our exercise specialists

Annual period for employees to convert temporary disability leave to vacation leave now available through April 30

The annual period for University of Kentucky employees to convert their temporary disability leave (TDL) to additional vacation leave (VL) is now available through April 30.   Employees may request conversion of TDL hours to additional vacation leave through Employee Self Service in myUK. Employees should log into myUK, access Employee Self Service and select Working Time and Leave Requests.

I’m exercising regularly and I’m really pumped! Now I can eat all the things!  Wellllll, not really. It’s very easy to overestimate your calorie burn and underestimate your calorie intake. If weight maintenance or weight loss is your goal, then healthy eating guidelines and portion sizes are still important.
