The Aviation Summer Camp on June 26 - 27 is open to ages 10 through adults, so parents and grandparents can attend with your children & grandchildren.

The Lexington TWO-DAY AVIATION SUMMER CAMPS are held at The Aviation Museum of Kentucky at our Blue Grass Airport location. Camp activities include Aeronautics, Navigation, Engines/Power-plants, Cockpit Instrumentation, Flight Simulator Training, Air Traffic Control, Aircraft Design, Aerospace Technology, and Careers in Aerospace. Additionally, each camper will receive a flight lesson in a small private aircraft with a FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI). An enjoyable and educational dog experience promoting empathy, safety, and a hands-on experience for a child who loves dogs or wants to get more comfortable with dogs. Each day your child will learn about appropriate behavior with an unfamiliar dog, dog training and obedience, and dog care including health, feeding and grooming. From Lexington, take Versailles Road toward the airport and go 1.6 miles past Man O War (at the airport) to a left onto Old Versailles Road. We are your first left, just before the Carpet Barn. We are in the olive green building in the gravel lot.

Most half-day weeks range in price from $245 to $365 depending on the program. A full-day, full-week registration would cost double that, depending on the price of the combined classes.

A variety of STEM classes are offered for grades 1st-3rd, 3rd-5th, 5th-8th, 7th-10th and the occasional 9th grade +. Grade level listed is for the 2023- 2024 school year for mature, interested students.

Register on a week-by-week basis late May through mid August following the Fayette County Public Schools calendar.

Our daily schedule runs 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a half-hour grace period on either end of the day for drop off and pick up between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m at no extra charge. Earlier drop off or later pickup between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. can be arranged for a small fee during registration. Morning-only sessions run 8:30 a.m. to noon, and afternoon sessions run 1 - 4:30 p.m.. Two half days can be combined for a full day if you send a sack lunch.

Camp Curiosity is a summer experience open to students ages three years old through rising fifth grade where they can explore developmentally appropriate learning activities that exercise the brain and body through play and exploration.

The Learning Center is a two week intensive academic camp providing reading, writing, and mathematics instruction to students in grades one through eight designed to meet the needs of students with language-based learning differences (dyslexia, dyscalculia, etc.) who experience difficulty in reading, writing, and/or math.
