Working parent workshop on family digital and online well-being
Part of National Work & Family Month. Family Matters: Supporting Personal & Caregiving Needs
The amount of time we spend online and on social media can impact our digital well-being. Technology can impact our mental, emotional, and relational health. Adults and children are sometimes more likely to use their smartphones or tablets while spending time together instead of engaging in meaningful conversation. This can positively and negatively impact their connection and understanding of one another in the long run. In this workshop, we will discuss tips for finding a healthy balance when using digital media.
