Update to coverage of some emergency room visits

Our HMO, RHP and EPO plans will have one change to how some emergency room visits are covered. The change does not apply to an emergency room visit which results in a hospital admission.

Routine vaccines for UK-HMO members

Effective July 1, 2023, UK-HMO Members can now receive many routine and commonly requested vaccines for a $0 co-pay* at your local, in-network pharmacies Effective July 1, 2023, if you are a UK-HMO member, you can receive the vaccines listed below, through the following channels:

IRS has increased retirement contribution limits

The Internal Revenue Service has increased the amount individuals can contribute to their 403(b) plans in 2023.  The contribution limit for employees who participate in 401(k), 403(b), most 457 plans, and the federal government's Thrift Savings Plan is increased to $22,500, up from $20,500 in 2022.    The limit on annual contributions to an IRA increased to $6,500, up from $6,000.

Change to our pharmacy network

Kroger has announced it will withdraw from the national network of Express Scripts, which manages our pharmacy benefit through our health insurance plans. This was a national decision by Kroger that takes effect January 1.  You can view the full list of Express Scripts in-network pharmacies here.
