CAREERS

Finding the right child care option for will always be one of the most important decisions you make. Here are some resources and tips to help you. Some things have changed in Kentucky and a new website is now dedicated to helping you find many resources and services including child care support. As always, the Child Care Aware of Kentucky website continues to be a great resource. They provide information sheets specific to families for choosing child care, children with special needs and more. Additionally, the Human Development Institute at the University of Kentucky offers valuable information on early childhood education.

We would also like to recognize KinderCare, our official partner. KinderCare has four locations in the Lexington area providing an accredited early childcare education program. They offer a 10%-15% discount to UK employees.

Back to Nutritional Basics

As humans, we are quite good at overcomplicating things. I suppose a lot of this can be attributed to all the choices the modern world provides us. And that is surely a blessing. But when you’re at the grocery store, staring down an aisle of yogurt and trying to decide which one to buy, it is easy to forget that choices are nice. Do I get the one with higher protein? Do I look for less sugar? Greek or regular? It’s no wonder healthful eating feels impossible to many of us.
