Frequently Asked Questions

Why isn’t the web-based training (WBT) recording my completion?

Please clear the temporary files/cache for your web browser and restart the browser before opening training again. Click here to learn how to clear your cache and cookies.

Add the following as trusted sites:

If this does not resolve the incident, contact the Learning and Performance team.

Why won’t the web-based training (WBT) open/load?

Ensure your browser’s pop-up blocker is disabled and add the following as trusted sites to your browser:

Note: As of January 1, 2021, any courses that use Flash will no longer load. If the course opens a blank pop-up window, it potentially uses Flash. Course developers are in the process of updating WBTs to remove Flash. Please reach out to the Learning and Performance team with the course title if you believe a WBT leverages Flash.

Which web browser should I use?

Whether using a PC or Mac, we recommend using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge to access myUK Learning (SuccessFactors).

If you experience issues in any browser, please clear the temporary files/cache for your web browser and restart the browser before trying again. Click here to learn how to clear your cache and cookies.

Please also ensure your browser’s pop-up blocker is disabled.

We highly recommend you enable 3rd party cookies for the following domains to avoid any errors:

For courses taken before August 1, 2018, you will need to request a transcript:

Where did my old courses I took go?

Courses taken on or after August 1, 2018, can be found in your learning history. Click here to see how to review your learning history.

Courses taken prior to August 1, 2018, are not available in myUK Learning. If you need to request a training transcript:

Where did the training link go?

The Training section of Employee Self Service has been replaced by SuccessFactors Learning and renamed “myUK Learning.” You still sign on the same way to myUK with your linkblue ID and select “myUK Learning” in the applicable tab:

Regular Faculty, Regular Staff, and STEPS employees: Employee Self Service tab.

External Learners: External Learner tab.

How do I access myUK Learning?

A link to myUK Learning can be found in the myUK portal through the applicable tab:

Regular Faculty, Regular Staff, and STEPS employees: Employee Self Service tab.

External Learners: External Learner tab.

Do I have the correct access?

All UK Faculty and Staff in active, regular assignments, as well as STEPS employees have access to myUK Learning. External employees (that have had an access request) will have access via the External Learner tab.

If you are an external employee (I.E., a contractor) a request will need to be submitted by your UK manager or director. If you are a Campus external employee complete the form located here. If you are UKHC external employee, the request should be sent to the UKHC Controller’s Department, Workforce Management Specialist Stephen Kiel for access to myUK Learning.

If you do not have access to one of those tabs and should or are receiving errors and extra log in screens when you click on the myUK Learning link, there may be an issue with your access. Healthcare employees should contact UKHC IT Education, and campus employees should contact Learning and Performance.

Why did the link take me to the Performance Evaluation System?

The new learning system is a SuccessFactors product, as is the Performance Management system we implemented several years ago. The home page for both modules is the same. Choose ‘Learning’ from the dropdown menu in the top left corner to access your learning assignments and sign up for new training.

Why can’t I register for a class?

Some courses may not have classes actively scheduled when you are checking. If you do not see that a class is scheduled, reach out to the course contact.

Some courses may have restrictions that only allow you to register for one class. Check to see you are not already registered or waitlisted for another class of that same course.

For additional assistance, healthcare employees should contact UKHC IT Education and campus employees should contact Learning and Performance.
