Get Moving with “Well at UK”! Your Hub for Step Challenges
Step challenges are back! With the exciting introduction of Well at UK, your new one-stop portal for all things well-being, step challenges have made a triumphant return! Whether you’re looking to stay active, connect with friends or earn rewards, this is the place to start. Here’s how to get going:
How To: Connect Your Device
To make every step count, you’ll need to sync your fitness tracker or smartphone with the Well at UK portal. It’s quick and easy:
- Log in to Well at UK.
- Navigate to Device Sync.
- Select your preferred device or app (Fitbit, Apple Health, Garmin, etc.).
- Follow the prompts to authorize syncing. You'll be surprised how fast it is!
Once connected, your steps will automatically update; no manual entry required. You may need to use your phone app to update your steps through the device app. For me, my steps need to be synced on my Garmin Connect app before they can be seen on the portal.
Try Our New Feature – Peer-to-Peer Challenges
Want to add some friendly competition? Our Peer-to-Peer Challenges let you invite coworkers and some family members to a private step challenge. Here’s how:
- Go to Challenges in the portal. Or scroll down to the Peer-to-Peer Challenges button
- Click Start a New Challenge.
- You have two options: Overall Challenges: whoever gets the most steps over multiple days wins. The other is Day-to-Day Challenges, which lets you compete daily, and the participant who wins the most days wins the challenge.
- Name your challenge, set your start and end dates.
- Invite your peers and start stepping together!
It’s a fun way to stay motivated and celebrate progress as a team.
