Location: Eastern Kentucky
Cost: Grand Camp- $220 for the first two participants, then $40 each additional family member (plus tax)

Camp Carnegie

Location: Fayette county
Cost: Each camp registration fee is $75.
Camp Carnegie is a series of six educational, half-day camps for rising sixth through eighth grade students at the Carnegie Center.

Experienced, passionate instructors lead fun, hands-on activities at the Carnegie Center while field trips and visits with community leaders deepen learning experiences. Camps encourage summer learning and teach life skills or introduce campers to fascinating fields that could lead to future careers. (Example courses from last year: Crocheting and the Textile Arts, Comic Art, Poetry)

The Summer Engineering Exploration Kamp (SEEK), hosted by the University of Kentucky Department of Civil Engineering, is an engaging one-week residential summer camp held on the campus of the University of Kentucky specifically for rising high school seniors. SEEK offers a unique and comprehensive experience for high school seniors, blending academic instruction, hands-on projects, interaction with practicing engineers from regional engineering companies and governmental agencies, field trips to active project sites and mentorship with current civil engineering students to foster the next generation of civil engineers.

YMCA Camp Kern

Location: Outside the state
Cost: Traditional overnight camp is: $850 per week per camper
Overnight camp: 7-17
Camp Kern runs weeklong programs, checking in on Sunday and checking out on Fridays. Camp Kern runs from June 1st to August 1st.
Activities start at 9 a.m. and go as late as 8 p.m.
