The Lexington TWO-DAY AVIATION SUMMER CAMPS are held at The Aviation Museum of Kentucky at our Blue Grass Airport location. Camp activities include Aeronautics, Navigation, Engines/Power-plants, Cockpit Instrumentation, Flight Simulator Training, Air Traffic Control, Aircraft Design, Aerospace Technology, and Careers in Aerospace. From Lexington, take Versailles Road toward the airport and go 1.6 miles past Man O War (at the airport) to a left onto Old Versailles Road. We are your first left, just before the Carpet Barn. We are in the olive green building in the gravel lot.

Cost:
Most half-day weeks range in price from $245 to $365 depending on the program. A full-day, full-week registration would cost double that, depending on the price of the combined classes.

A variety of STEM classes are offered for grades 1st-3rd, 3rd-5th, 5th-8th, 7th-10th and the occasional 9th grade +. Grade level listed is for the 2023- 2024 school year for mature, interested students.

Our daily schedule runs 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a half-hour grace period on either end of the day for drop off and pick up between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m at no extra charge. Earlier drop off or later pickup between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. can be arranged for a small fee during registration.
