The University of Kentucky's Individual, Relational, and Financial Therapy (I-RAFT) Clinic is a community wellness facility supporting mental health and personal finance needs in the community. Our staff consists of therapy interns and financial coaching interns.

Our therapist interns are in their Family Sciences Master's program at UK. Our interns are supervised weekly by their clinical supervisors who are licensed Marriage and Family therapists within UK's Family Sciences faculty..

Financial coaches are enrolled in UK’s Family Financial Counseling (FFC) undergraduate program. These financial coaches are under the direct supervision and instruction of Accredited Financial Counselors® within the Family Financial Counseling faculty. Financial coaching services are provided to the public community at no cost.

Newton's Attic is a STEM (Science Technology Engineering & Math) education non-profit dedicated to providing students with highly unusual educational experiences and providing STEM educational resources to parents, teachers, and students at all grade levels. Our mission is to stimulate interest in science and engineering through exciting hands-on projects, classes, and summer camps.

Our summer STEM day camps offer a mix of robotics, coding, chemistry, and pre-engineering in the areas of mechanical, electrical, and aerospace systems. Classes are small with personalized instruction , and participants learn skills including basic physics and engineering principles, the design process as well as hand and power tool use.

 October is National Work and Family Month and to recognize the month, University of Kentucky Human Resources Work-Life is hosting several workshops.  National Work and Family Month is an annual designation that began in 2003. It aims to highlight the importance of creating a harmonious relationship between professional responsibilities and family commitments.

Annual period for employees to convert temporary disability leave to vacation leave now available through April 30

The annual period for University of Kentucky employees to convert their temporary disability leave (TDL) to additional vacation leave (VL) is now available through April 30.   Employees may request conversion of TDL hours to additional vacation leave through Employee Self Service in myUK. Employees should log into myUK, access Employee Self Service and select Working Time and Leave Requests.
