University New Employee Orientation is sponsored by UK Federal Credit Union

All employees hired into regular staff (.5 FTE and greater) and WEPP positions are required to complete the online University New Employee Orientation (NEO) in myUK Learning within 30 calendar days of their first date of employment. During this session, employees receive information pertaining to benefits, University policies, and an overview of campus.

The online program will automatically be assigned to the new employee based on their start date in SAP, so it is critical that the new employee is entered into SAP in advance of their first day. Supervisors, please see more details about this and use our onboarding toolkit for all your new hires.

New employees are notified via email

After the new employee has been entered into SAP and has activated their linkblue account and email, they will receive an email letting them know the orientation has been assigned to them in myUK Learning.

Next generation of nurses take their first steps with UK HealthCare

Graduating nurses from across the commonwealth and beyond took a major step towards becoming an RN within UK HealthCare.  In what health care leaders called a “transformative milestone,” nearly 200 graduating students were given the opportunity to interview with hiring leaders from Chandler, KY Children’s, Good Samaritan, the Markey Cancer Center and Eastern State Hospital.  Interviews were scheduled based on student’s career interests as well as offering them an opportunity exploring areas they may not have yet considered.
