MIEA training is an evidence-based program specifically designed to help in the reduction of stress and anxiety while also increasing sleep and self-compassion.

This four-week online class is an introduction to mindfulness and meditation. It is an experiential class designed to help you tune into your body by learning two to three skills per week for dealing with stress.

Participants will learn specific skills that help calm and focus their mind, including breathing exercises, guided imagery, body scan, and more! Each hour-long class focuses on a specific set of skills to practice during the online class and the week following it.

Week 1 – Breath awareness, dynamic breathing and body scan

Week 2 – Gatha meditation and walking meditation

Week 3 – Guided imagery and labeling thoughts

Week 4 – Eating meditation and labeling feelings
