Support in identifying and achieving your goals

Whether you’re unsure how to start making change or you need help identifying a specific goal, we’re here for you with encouraging support and science-based tools.

During a consult, a health coach will work with you to set a well-being goal that aligns with what's most important to you. You will receive tools, strategies and encouragement to help you reach your goal. You'll also receive follow-up support.

Then, you can select how and when you would like to meet. You'll even receive a confirmation email with the details.

Annual period for employees to convert temporary disability leave to vacation leave now available through April 30

The annual period for University of Kentucky employees to convert their temporary disability leave (TDL) to additional vacation leave (VL) is now available through April 30.   Employees may request conversion of TDL hours to additional vacation leave through Employee Self Service in myUK. Employees should log into myUK, access Employee Self Service and select Working Time and Leave Requests.

Identifying Feelings and Needs

Are you feeling a certain kind of way but unsure how to describe it or where to start? You're not alone! During these times of uncertainty, one of the most powerful things you can do is put a name on what you're feeling. Clinical psychologist Dr. Yvette Erasmus has a helpful way to think about our core needs. She writes, "instead of just saying 'needs,' depending on the context, it may be easier to use phrases like intrinsic motivators, values, desires, hungers, drives, or just getting to the essence of what matters."
