The application period for the 2025 WELD – Faculty and Staff Leadership Development program is now open. Applications will be accepted until January 16, 2026 and recommendations must be submitted by January 21, 2026. All application materials and recommendations must be submitted for consideration by the selection committee. Participants for the 2026 WELD program will be announced in late February 2026.
The WELD program seeks to develop a new generation of leaders of higher education who can adeptly navigate our complex environment and successfully chart the future of the University of Kentucky.
