  1. Walk the block, the yard, a trail or any other outdoor venue-5 min to serve as a warm up 
  1. Go to the curb or step and do step-ups, alternating the lead foot- 3×10 
  1. Find a tree for wall push-ups-3×10 
  1. Heavy rocks or flower pots serve as added weight-try holding it and doing air squats -3×10 
  1. Use a park bench or ledge for tricep dips-3×10 
  1. Tree branches, monkey bars or outdoor “handles” serve as points for inverted rows-3×10 
  1. Use a fence row, sidewalk, or trail to alternate lunges 3×10 
  1. Finally, sit on the grass for some good ol’ fashion crunches-3×10 

Summer workouts can be a nice change of pace from the gym. Enjoy the benefits of being outside and being active at the same time!
