Try this easy-to follow-outdoor workout: Take your workout outside!
- Walk around the block, the yard, a trail or any other outdoor venue for 5 minutes to warm up.
- Go to the curb or step and do step-ups. Alternating your lead foot, do 3 sets of 10 reps.
- Find a tree or other vertical surface and do wall push-ups. Do 3 sets of 10 reps.
- Heavy rocks or flower pots are great for weights - find the best weight for you and do squats. Do 3 sets of 10 reps..
- Face away from a bench or other horizontal surface, rest your hands on it, and dip down, working your triceps. Do 3 sets of 10 reps.
- Use branches or monkey bars to do inverted rows (think assisted pull-ups). Do 3 sets of 10 reps..
- Standing on a level surface like a sidewalk, driveway or trail, do lunges, alternating legs. Do 3 sets of 10 reps.
- Finally, sit on the grass for some good ol'-fashioned crunches. Do 3 sets of 10 reps.
