Caregivers often spend so much time looking after others that their own safety, confidence, and well-being can take a back seat. This interactive workshop explores practical self-defense concepts that go beyond physical techniques, helping participants build awareness, set healthy boundaries, and increase personal confidence in everyday situations. Participants will learn strategies to recognize and avoid potentially unsafe situations, use effective verbal and nonverbal communication, and practice basic self-defense tactics. We will discuss ways to enhance personal safety, reduce your risk of being targeted, and general safety tips including empowerment, awareness, and confidence. Also, the session will highlights how feeling secure and empowered can support overall well-being, reduce stress, and contribute to greater harmony at work, at home, and in the community.
