This presentation explores the impact retirement can have on identity, purpose, relationships, routine, and overall mental well-being. Participants will learn about common emotional experiences during and after retirement, including stress, grief, anxiety, loneliness, and adjustment challenges, while also exploring strategies that promote resilience, connection, meaning, and healthy aging. Practical tools for maintaining emotional wellness, social engagement, and life satisfaction in retirement will be discussed.
