Wildcat Check In: mindfulness moment's walk
Wildcat Check-in Week Supporting Campus Mental Health
Wildcat Check-in Week is a campus-wide initiative dedicated to promoting mental health and suicide prevention. Led by Student Well-Being and coordinated by Prevention, Outreach and Wellness Education Resources (POWER), this event brings together a network of University campus partners—including UK HR Health and Wellness and the UK HealthCare Healthy Kentucky Initiative—to create a supportive environment for all students, faculty and staff.
Wildcat Check-in Week is designed to encourage the entire campus community to pause, reflect and prioritize their mental health. Whether you’re a student, staff member, or faculty member, this initiative offers accessible opportunities to check in on your well-being, connect with resources and learn strategies for maintaining mental health.
Enjoy a self-guided mindfulness walk across campus featuring five thoughtfully designed "moments" focused on breathing, reflection, connecting with nature or creativity.
