Work-life workshop on Family Medical Leave basics, parental and elder care leaves

This workshop will focus on sharing the basics of FML (Family Medical Leave) as well as explain the paid parental and paid elder care leaves. These two leave options increased this fiscal year, and we want to make sure you know how and when to use them to support your work and life management efforts. We will cover the FML basics including the application process, eligibility, approval processes and how taking FML leave may impact your UK benefits and pay. In addition, we will discuss the difference between TDL (sick leave), FML and the TDL Well-being leave options. Join us for this virtual workshop that will walk you through the criteria for staff and faculty to utilize the unpaid Family Medical Leave as well as the paid elder care and paid parental leave.
