Trauma‑informed self-care at work: Applied regulation techniques (part 2)
As much as we try to separate our personal and professional lives, it can be challenging to calm the body’s stress response when we’re navigating difficult circumstances, experiencing trauma or encountering trauma reminders.
Grounded in the work of leading trauma researchers and clinicians—including Bessel van der Kolk, Pat Ogden and Daniel Siegel—this two‑part workshop series adapts key insights and evidence‑based practices from the field of trauma-informed care to the workplace setting.
In this second session, Eric Wilkinson and Rhonda Henry, mental health therapists with UK HR Health and Wellness, will focus on hands‑on application of self‑regulation techniques and guide participants in creating a personalized plan for incorporating regulation practices throughout the day.
Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and share resources with the group.
We ask that anyone who registers plans to attend both Part 1 and Part 2 of this workshop.
