Formerly known as Koru Basic, the Mindfulness Institute for Emerging Adults (MIEA) has undergone a name change but the core program remains the same.

MIEA is an evidence‑based program designed to help reduce stress and anxiety while improving sleep, focus and self‑compassion.

This four‑week course provides an introduction to mindfulness and meditation through hands‑on learning. Each week, you’ll explore two to three practical skills that help you tune into your body and manage stress more effectively.

Participants will learn techniques to calm and focus the mind, including breathing practices, guided imagery, body scans and more. Each one‑hour session highlights a set of skills to practice both during class and throughout the following week.
