Working parents workshop on performing arts activity: Create a dance routine
This in-person Work-Life performing arts activity is open to all UK employees and retirees. Join us for some creative movement and fun as you learn a dance routine. No previous dance experience is necessary. This is a casual setting designed to help you engage in creative self-care. Dandiya/ Garba involves graceful hand and foot movements. It is a vibrant and energetic folk dance. It involves dancers using decorated sticks, called dandiyas, to create rhythmic patterns while moving in a circle. Costumes are colorful with large flowing skirts. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes to engage in this creative movement activity.
Location: Young Library Gallery, 1st floor, room 1-65 (near the University Drive entrance and auditorium) -There is NO Zoom option. In-person only.
