The Getting (Re)Started with Fitness is a four-week series for beginners or those individuals who have not been consistent with exercise. Each presentation is designed to build on the information from the week before, so it's recommended that individuals register for all four. 

In this second session, Carrie Davidson, exercise physiologist with UK HR Health and Wellness, will help you answer the question of "how?" How should you exercise in a way that is appropriate for you based on age, gender and special considerations?

The remaining offerings in the series will be:

  • Week 3: Goal setting - 11/19
    • Utilizing the SMART goals worksheet, we'll work on creating specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time bound goals. Create your plan!
  • Week 4: Resources - 11/26
    • Are you located on or off campus? What equipment do you have available to you? Better understand resources available to you online or in nature.

Note: If you are unable to attend all four of the presentations in this series, they will be recorded. All registered participants will receive the recordings.
