Men's Healthy Exercise and Movement (Week 2)
Practical Tools for Men's Health is a comprehensive six-week series designed to empower participants with the knowledge, tools and support they need to navigate challenges, discover resources, and embrace opportunities regarding men's overall health.
Each session will focus on a specific well-being area that can impact men's health, and participants are encouraged to sign up for any (or all) of the sessions.
Movement is medicine—but the type, intensity, and consistency matter. In this second session, join exercise physiologists Chadd McFarland and Matt Fels-McDowell as they explore how exercise supports men’s physical and mental health, what training approaches work best at different stages of life and how to overcome common barriers to staying active.
Whether you're starting fresh or fine-tuning your routine, this session has practical tips to help you move better and feel stronger.
All sessions will be delivered via Zoom! All sessions are open to UK faculty and staff, retirees, and their spouses.
Note: If the date and time don't work for you, all registered participants will receive the recording, allowing for viewing at a later time.
