Practical Tools for Men's Health is a comprehensive six-week series designed to empower participants with the knowledge, tools and support they need to navigate challenges, discover resources and embrace opportunities regarding men's overall health.

Each session will focus on a specific well-being area that can impact men's health, and participants are encouraged to sign up for any (or all) of the sessions.

The topics in this six-week series include:

  • Week 1: Understanding Men's Health with Dr. Scott Black - June 9
  • Week 2: Men's Healthy Exercise and Movement with exercise physiologists, Chadd McFarland and Matt Fels-McDowell - June 16
  • Week 3: Men's Nutrition with registered dietitian Karen Bryla-McNees - June 23
  • Week 4: Resilient Mindset for Men with mental health therapist, Eric Wilkinson - June 30
  • Week 5: Men's Healthy Habits and Sleep with health coach, Amy Rodquist-Kodet - July 9
  • Week 6: Men's Health Roundtable with all the experts - July 16

Kicking off our series, Dr. Black will discuss what’s really going on with men’s health today. This session will cover the most common health concerns men face—many of which are preventable—and what working-age men should be doing now to stay ahead of common and uncommon concerns they may face.

This is your chance to get a practitioner’s perspective on aging well and taking ownership of your health.

All sessions will be delivered via Zoom! All sessions are open to UK faculty and staff, retirees, and their spouses.

Note: If the date and time don't work for you, all registered participants will receive the recording, allowing for viewing at a later time.
