How to Combat the Long-term Impacts of sedentary workdays
Sedentary work/jobs involves minimal physical activity and mostly sitting or standing throughout the day. It increases our risk for health and joint problems. Moving more, taking breaks from sitting, and scheduling time for physical activity can all help with reducing these risks.
UK HR's Health and Wellness exercise physiologist, Carrie Davidson and Occupational Health and Safety have teamed up to provide information on how to combat the long-term effects caused by sedentary work. You don’t want to miss how sitting impacts your physiology, your mood, your mindset and more.
Come away with what you can do to lessen the impact of sedentary work. This will range from ergonomic recommendations to movement strategies.
This presentation will be delivered via Zoom. If you can't attend the presentation, it will be recorded and provided to all registrants.
Registration will open on March 27th.
