Elder Care workshop on difficult conversations about care and safety with someone with dementia
When someone is showing signs of dementia, it’s time to talk. But how do you start and manage a conversation like that? It’s a conversation they may not want to have. Often, when a loved one is showing signs of dementia starting a discussion about their changing behaviors can be challenging and uncomfortable. This program will provide tips for breaking the ice to address tough issues.
There is no ideal time for tough conversations but “sooner rather than later” is a good rule of thumb.
