Sleep plays an important role in our day-to-day lives and has a significant impact on our brain health. It also helps us maintain a healthy body. In contrast, poor sleep (sleep that is not restorative) interferes with our memory, our thinking, our judgement, and our overall health. Recent studies have indicated that poor sleep can increase our risk of dementia.
