Do you have questions about how to advocate for your child in the school system, work effectively with their teacher, connect with administration, and get the support your child needs? Join this session to learn about the resources offered to help your child succeed including 504, IEP, special education, accommodations. Although our speakers are from Fayette County Public School district, the overall messaging and advice will be helpful no matter where your child attends school. Parents are their child’s first and best advocate. It’s helpful to know and understand what type of resources are available through the school systems as well as how to navigate the systems, ask for help, get the help you need and ensure your child’s success in academics, social, behavioral, and mental health.
