Diet, exercise & dementia

There is strong evidence that what you eat and your level of physical activity can reduce your risk of dementia. Dr. McNees will talk about the importance of the MIND Diet (a hybrid of two balanced, heart-healthy eating styles) and how this diet can be incorporated into your daily life. Dr. Carrie Davidson will discuss the importance of staying physically active and how exercise can promote a healthy brain. There is no cure for Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias, but there are things you and your loved ones can do to reduce the risk.
