Day after Thanksgiving
Official paid holiday for regular, full-time employees.
Full-time staff at UK receive 9 paid holidays, in addition to 4 days of "bonus" days that are often approved as paid leave between Christmas and New Years. For 2020-21 academic year, four additional paid bonus days have been added for staff members in regular positions in academic areas.
Employees of UK HealthCare who do not normally receive the Friday after Thanksgiving as a holiday are provided a “floating” holiday in place of this calendar day.
