STEPS Employee Required Training
STEPS Temporary Employment employees must complete several online courses within 1-2 weeks of starting their first assignment. If you are beginning a temporary position, your Temporary Employment Specialist will provide you with detailed instructions related to completing these online courses.
Required Training
All STEPS temporary employes are required to complete at least one additional training. Staff taking assignments in UK HealthCare areas have additional mandatory requirements highlighted below.
Please note: You will complete the following required training sessions through the myUK Employee Self-Service online system, which requires a UK link blue user name and password. In many cases, it may take up to 4-5 business days after you begin your first STEPS job before this log in information is available to you.
Discrimination, Harassment and Sexual Misconduct: What you need to know (Required for All)
The University of Kentucky policy prohibits sexual harassment and other forms of discrimination. All HR Temporary Employment employees are expected to understand and follow policies and procedures related to both. Once your link blue login information is available, log in to myUK to complete this training.
