Based on the works of Kristin Neff and Chris Germer, this 60-minute introductory session will give folks an opportunity to learn, practice and bring more self-compassion into their lives. Research shows that self-compassion increases life satisfaction, happiness, self-confidence, body appreciation and immune function. Self-compassion decreases anxiety, depression, stress, perfectionism, and shame.
