University of Kentucky faculty and staff now have access to one of the world’s largest online professional developments tools.
UK HR Training & Development is sponsoring a LinkedIn Learning pilot program through April 11, 2024. LinkedIn Learning, formerly Lynda.com, is an on-demand learning solution designed to help you gain new skills and advance your career.
LinkedIn Learning is available at no cost to all active faculty and staff (including temporary employees) at the University of Kentucky.
“LinkedIn Learning will be great for individuals who have difficulty finding time to participate in traditional training due to their busy schedules, as it is available on demand,” said Becky Dysart, UK HR Director of Training and Development. “In addition, it will supplement learning opportunities offered by HR Training & Development and other UK training areas, whether in person, virtual or web based.”
Dysart added that continuation of the program after the pilot program period will be based on utilization rates. LinkedIn Learning can be accessed via single sign-on using your LinkBlue ID and password.
