UK HealthCare is expanding access to care

We know access to care is an important factor in choosing a health insurance plan. UK HealthCare is moving quickly to provide additional primary care locations throughout the region, including UK HealthCare-Hamburg opening in May, as well as clinics planned in Frankfort and Richmond scheduled to open this year.

Learn more about these clinics plus other ways you can receive care on UK health insurance

2024 - 2025 rates

To address rising health care costs happening nationwide and bring our plans in line with the true cost of insuring our faculty and staff, UK will increase its budget for employee health insurance by more than $40 million this year to help minimize the impact to our employees. UK will continue to cover as much as 94% of the true cost of employee-only coverage on the HMO and Saver plans.

Monthly premiums for employees will also increase this year, including smaller increases to our HMO and Saver plans. We are happy to share there are no increases to the monthly rates for dental or vision insurance this year.
