May is Mental Health Month, dedicated to prioritizing our well-being and promoting open conversations about mental health. In partnership with Prudential’s Health & Productivity Analytics & Consulting (HPAC) Practice, the University of Kentucky is offering a mental health awareness and sensitivity training designed to support our efforts to reduce the stigma associated with mental health and increase access to mental health care.

This training is designed to help educate leaders about mental health, common diagnoses and how to recognize the warning signs. Leaders will leave the session with recommendations on how to address mental health in the workplace, recognize emerging mental health issues, ways to reduce stigma so the work environment is mentally healthy and strategies for self-care.

Learning objectives:

  • Define Mental Health & Common Conditions
  • Stress & Mental Health
  • How Mental Health Can Show up at Work & How to Address
  • What a Mentally Healthy Workplace Is
  • Ways to Reduce Stigma
  • Suicide Warning Signs and Action Plan
  • Self-Care & Best Practices
  • UK Work Life and Well-being resources

While the primary audience is managers and supervisors, anyone can attend this training.

This will be delivered via Zoom.
