Web Page Maintainer

This is the first Web Page Maintainer Certificate is designed to give faculty and staff the competencies necessary to effectively update and maintain Web pages at the University of Kentucky.

The requirements for the Web Page Maintainer Certificate are:

  1. Download the AIS Web Accessibility Toolbar or the Firefox Web Developer Toolbar.
  2. Read UK Web Policy, UK Web Standards & Guidelines and UK Graphic Standards.
  3. Attend at least three meetings of the Web Publishers group hosted by Chuck Ham of UK Public Relations.
  4. Subscribe to the Web Publishers Listserv.
  5. Excel 2007 or Excel 2003 course of your choosing. (Follow link for options)
  6. PowerPoint 2007 or PowerPoint 2003 course of your choosing. (Follow link for options)
  7. Word 2007 or Word 2003 course of your choosing. (Follow link for options)
  8. HTML 1: Basic Coding
  9. HTML 2: Images & Tables
  10. Web@UK
  11. Introduction to Dreamweaver MX 2004
