Please note: The campus deadline for completing 2012 Campus Performance Evaluations is February 28, 2013. The deadline for UK Healthcare 2012-13 performance evaluations will be June 30, 2013.

Leading the PE Conversation — Training for Supervisors

At UK, we believe conversation is the core of the performance evaluation process. Our new web-based course is aimed at supervisors and provides tips leading a two-way discussion on the employee's performance, development, and goals. The course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.

To complete this training online:

Log in to myUK using your linkblue User ID and Password. Click the Employee Self-Service tab.
Click the "Training" link (listed under "Employee Services").
Enter the term "Leading the PE" in the search box.
Click on the title "Leading the PE Conversation WB".
Click the "Book This Course" button.

Instructor-led option: To request an instructor-led version of this class for your department, please email rs_supervision@uky.edu.

Clarifying Unit Standards — Training for Unit Leaders and Supervisors

This course guides leaders in articulating standards for rating within the unit and across the division, department, or unit. This instructor presentation may also include an instructor-led version of the Leading the PE Conversation training described above.

To complete this training: Request an instructor-led presentation for your department by sending an email to rs_supervision@uky.edu.

Participating in Your PE — Training for Employees

This web-based course offers tips to help employees make the most of their role in the performance evaluation process. This includes strategies to prepare for the PE discussion and discuss career development and goals. The course takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Please note: Due to the difference in the timing of campus and UK HealthCare PE cycles, it is recommended that campus employees and supervisors complete the training this fall. UK HealthCare employees and supervisors will be prompted to complete the training after March 1st.
