Introduction to Dreamweaver CS3

This class will introduce you to the Dreamweaver user interface for the purpose of creating, editing and managing web content. Styling considerations and other advanced functionality will be explored as well.

Prerequisite skills: Completion of HTML 1: Basic Coding class AND HTML 2: Images & Tables class or equivalent knowledge.

After completing this class, you should be able to:

  • Identify parts of the Dreamweaver CS3 work area
  • Define a basic local site
  • Create a basic home page
  • Edit content using Design and Code Views
  • Format content using a style sheet (CSS)
  • Check and correct errors
