HTML 1: Basic Coding

Prerequisite skills: Basic familiarity with a computer mouse, keyboard, Web browsing techniques and the Windows XP operating system.
Designed for the beginner, this course covers using HTML to create a basic web page format, ordered and unordered lists, and various types of links (links to other documents, links within the same page, and e-mail links). Plenty of "hands-on" exercises are provided to build an actual web page.
By the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Create a basic HTML page
- Use opening and closing tags
- Format text on a Web page
- Insert headings and comments
- Create an ordered list and unordered list
- Insert a link to another document
- Insert a link to an email address
