Prohibiting Discrimination in the Workplace

class code - HRT_PD056

duration - 2 hours

What is discrimination? Who decides if harassment is happening? Would you recognize sexual or racial harassment in the workplace? When is it okay to talk about sex and race at work? What other types of discrimination are not permissible? Offensive, demeaning or disrespectful behavior by faculty, staff or students is inappropriate. Workplaces and classrooms suffer when this type of behavior exists. By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Describe UK’s policies and procedures on discrimination
  • Identify behavior that might be considered discriminatory
  • Describe your role and responsibility in creating an academic and work environment free of discrimination
  • Know where to report discrimination
  • Date(s) & Time(s)

    Unfortunately, this class is not scheduled at this time.
