Advanced Computer Competency

The Advanced Computer Competency Certificate is intended to provide faculty and staff a more detailed and broader knowledge of software applications and helpful practices for using the Web.

Prerequisite: The Computer Competency Certificate, or its equivalent.

It consists of 25 hours of no-charge instructor-led training in the following 10 classes:
  1. Excel 2007 Level 2: Formulas, Filters, and Function OR Excel 2003: Intermediate
  2. Excel 2007: Creating and Working with Charts OR Excel 2003: Charts & Graphs
  3. Using Access 2007 OR Using Access 2003
  4. Outlook 2007 Level 2: Calendar Features OR Outlook 2003: Calendar Features
  5. Word 2007 Level 2: Beyond Basic Documents OR Word 2003: Intermediate
  6. Word 2003: Mail Merge
  7. PowerPoint 2003: Intermediate
  8. PowerPoint 2003: Clip Art and Animation
  9. HTML 1: Basic Coding
